The Hermitage of San Sebastián

At dawn on January 2, 1492, near to the Hermitage of San Sebastián in Granada, Boabdil handed over the keys to the city to the Catholic Monarchs, marking the end of almost eight centuries of Muslim rule. The first mass was celebrated there. The hermitage is a witness to history and today, as part of the Parish of San José de Calasanz, it remains a place of worship where masses are held every Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
